Sponsorship for Sustainability

CST has survived and prospered through the dedication and hard work of its director and staff and the generous donations of concerned benefactors. We have also relied on local government funding to support our many successful activities and programs. Although the demand on CST for social service projects is increasing, the government is financially unable to support us. In reaction to this, we are optimistic to partner with other NGOs and corporations involved in India to provide ongoing operational support for our future. Improvements in the lives of countless women, children, families and communities have been brought about through the dedication of CST. You or your organization can be a part of this miraculous uplift of the human spirit and see direct results of your contribution in the work of Community Services Trust Salem.

Individual Contributions
Do you want to help CST, but do not belong to a corporation or other charitable organization? Individuals can also make donations, no matter how small or large. Contact G. George, Director of CST, to find out how to provide a contribution. Or visit one of the websites through which you can make an online donation.
A monetary contribution is not the only way to help! Find out how you can contribute your time, skills and effort to directly impact CST and the populations it serves. See our volunteers section for more information.

Micro Credit Program
CST's most extensive project is the government sanctioned Mahalir Thittam (MT) project. 1749 women's Self-Help Groups, encompassing 20,000 members, have already been formed. In order to be self-reliant and self-sustainable in the future, a micro credit program has been devised for these SHGs. Are you interested in sponsoring it?

For more information on the Micro Credit plan, a printable PDF report is available for download:
