Project Budget
In 2002, this ongoing educational program will combat AIDS/HIV in the lorry driver community, especially among the women. CST will make them aware of AIDS/HIV and its consequences and prevention techniques. Secondly, the program will distribute educational booklets and condoms via petrol stations. This is a voluntarily initiated project with a budget of Rs.15,000 ($320)* a year. In previous years, this voluntary program was funded from the general fund of CST, which is depleted now.
