Project Budget
DANIDA, a Danish Health organization, has partnered with CST to support CHEAP financially as well as technically. We would like to stress that the partnership with DANIDA is very encouraging for us. They have generously provided a grant covering CHEAP's expenses for a 10 month period beginning April 2001.In the following charts, the financial expenses and needs of CHEAP are displayed. Personnel and coordination expenses cover staff honorarium, travel and logistical costs. Expenses on meetings and reviews cover consultations on health issues to the Self-Help Groups, networking and awareness training and annual review meetings. Expenses on outsourcing cover conveyances, allowances, professional charges and DANIDA-monitoring. The material costs cover medicine, booklets, Health Diaries and DDK.
The first chart details the allocation of the grant money provided by DANIDA in 2001 for the CHEAP project.

At the end of the ten month period, CST will be looking to renew sponsorship with DANIDA or another organization to support this project in 2002. It is imperative that this project continue so the disadvantaged people of these regions will not be left without sufficient health care.
