Half-Way Home (HWH)

Project Budget
The Half-Way home needs financial support to continue to maintain the shelter at Namakkal. Unfortunately, the financial assistance from the Directorate of Social Defense is falling short of the program's needs. Yearly the Half-Way Home needs Rs.100,000* to offer shelter, nutrition, counseling and vocational training to 27 neglected and disadvantaged girls. Secure sponsorship will also ensure that proper guidance and care-taking staff is provided for the safety of the children living in the home.

The following table represents the required ongoing project costs for the Half-Way Home in 2002.
